Really nice layout, with directions to get to each trailhead, what to expect during the hike (distances, landmarks, and where other trails meet up), as well as a trail map and concise summary.
The books seems to be aimed at folks looking for mostly short, casual hikes. It's description claims to cover trips from "an easy nature walk, a day-long hike, or an overnighter". However, the longest trail described was 13+ miles and a few in 6-8 mile range, but most were well under 5 miles. I also did not find much information about backcountry camping rules, etc. Also, it would have helped to have a summary (e.g. a table) of hike distances, elevation gain, etc.
Very useful if you're hiking in the Pikes Peak/Colorado Springs Area. Descriptions were on point and helpful.
