She has also written and produced articles for Architectural Digest, Dwell, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Martha Stewart Living, Traditional Home, Veranda, and many other magazines. She is the author of The Big Texas Steakhouse Cookbook and The Mansion on Turtle Creek Cookbook. Casey Dunn is an Austin-based architectural and landscape photographer whose work has appeared in Architectural Digest, Architectural Record, Dwell, Interior Design magazine, the New York Times Magazine, and Paper City.

We are in the process of designing a house to build, so I bought this book for myself as an early Christmas present. It arrived about 10 minutes ago and I just flipped through all the pages quickly and already have about 3 ideas I want to incorporate into our new house. I've never been to Marfa but the style of the houses in this boom really speak to me. Beautiful photos and TONS of inspiration. A great book for anyone who loves design, architecture, Marfa or the high desert lifestyle.
Beautiful photo and print quality, good read. It lays flat perfectly (a pet peeve of mine when books like this do not lay flat on their own--you know who you are!). Rad houses if you're into the desert modern, minimalist style of Marfa. It's a nice mix, none of the homes featured are too much the same or repetitive like some other home books. Very eclectic and unique spaces. Love it.
This is my new favorite architecture book to give as a gift. It is so beautiful and inspiring. Absolutely gorgeous photography and design.
