Thomas K. Nakayama is Professor and Director of the Department of Communications Studies, Northeastern University. He received his Ph.D. in communication studies from the University of Iowa. As a Communication major, this book is a great find on Amazon because most Intercultural classes require it..and it's so much more expensive in a college's bookstore.The textbook by itself is also a good read, and probably particularly relevant with everything currently occurring politically and socially in the US. I'm sad to say I didn't keep the textbook after I graduated.
My copy is barely holding together. The only positive thing is that someone who used this book before me highlighted the useful information
Came in very poor condition! I hope it does not fall apart as I start using it...

Book arrived in poor condition, with marks and broken in the middle. Had to apply tape to keep it from falling apart.
Great textbook really enjoyed the class.
I only read the definitions on the side because everything covered is pretty much common sense.
